Lutheran Youth Organization
The LYO is led by Susan Taylor and Natalie Vogel.
Our group is currently made up of youth in middle school grades and above ... from multiple school districts in the area.
If you have a middle school age child or older who would like to be a part of the LYO, just let us know!
One of our favorite events to attend is what is called 'Quake'. We've attended this weekend youth retreat for several years and each year it is highly anticipated by our kids. Use the link below to learn more about what Quake has to offer.
OH - Cincinnati - Quake Events
Another group-favorite is the ELCA Youth & Young Adult Gathering that is held every three years. We had a group attend the Gathering in 2012 in New Orleans and in 2018 in Houston. Our group plans to attend the upcoming 2024 Gathering in New Orleans. The 2024 Gathering is the first to include an option for 'young adults'... which means our older college-age LYO members get to attend as well... and they are very excited about it!
